Norterra Law, PLLC is the culmination of a journey by the firm’s founder and principal, David M. Smitten.
David is an accomplished attorney who advises on Canada-US legal issues involving business structures, taxation, real estate, contract, and estate planning matters. David has been admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor to the Bar in Alberta, Canada since 1999 and as an Attorney to the Arizona Bar since 2016. He is one of a very small number of lawyers who are actively licensed in both Canada and the US and is one of two attorneys in Arizona who is certified as a Trust and Estate Practitioner by the international Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
